About the author
Felicia Zeven is a healthcare psychologist in the Netherlands with over a decade of experience working with younger and older adults. Trained in CBT, Trauma therapy, ACT, Positive psychology, and Narrative therapy, she is known for an active, hands-on approach that blends education, practical exercises, and a deep focus on the therapeutic relationship.
“I’m not the kind of therapist who just sits back and listens”, Felicia says. “I believe therapy should give you tools you can use in real life. I want you to leave each session - or each page of my books - with something that moves you forward”.
A passionate advocate for integrating the mind and body, Felicia is also recognized for her innovative work in Boxing therapy—a powerful way to release blocked emotions, process trauma, and rebuild self-confidence. Having lived in several countries she brings a multicultural and inclusive perspective to everything she does.
Felicia began writing with one clear goal: to make therapy more accessible. With long waiting lists and high costs preventing many from getting support, her books offer practical strategies, compassionate insights, and the reassurance that change is always possible.
